Anne is the owner and principal at FORTarchitect inc. A graduate of the Architectural Association in London, England, she returned to Canada to credential as a professional architect before launching her own practice in 1998. Thanks to solid qualifications combined with a notable client list FORT has grown and diversified ever since.

While Anne has a solid grounding in architecture and a wide experience base (commercial, institutional, retail, residential, non-profit and heritage), she is also highly original in her influences and motivations:

• Her dedication to environmental principles inspired her to become a LEED-Accredited Professional and to design the award winning Building Blocks Sustainable Homes
• Her commitment to affordable housing has led to many years' work with Habitat for Humanity
• Her passion for treehouses has won her treehouse projects and ultimately inspired the name of her practice
